STITCH-IN’S

                                                                     Fun at Stitch-ins
Stitch-ins are a time to get together with a small group to work on any project you have been wanting to start, complete or just share ideas on threads and stitches.  Sometimes we just work along with some others who may been working on a similar project.
The fun at a Stitch-in is both in the new people you may meet but often seeing the projects that they are stitching. Meeting people both from the day group and the evening group if the Stitch-in is held on a Saturday or in the evening. Often members bring projects to work on they have obtained at the National Seminar, a pilot class or pulled from their stash. Remember both groups are always invited to both meetings and always to Stitch-ins.
Your hostess will provide coffee and tea, and often a breakfast item and or a dessert. Please notify the Hostess 24-48 hours in advance so she can plan on seating and other requirements. Attendees will need to bring their lunch and their project, along with any stitching tools they might require. Stitch-ins  normally start between 9:30-10:00 AM. and go as late as the group likes. Stitch-ins may be held in the evening or a weekend for those working who are unable to get away during the day. We will announce them in the Newsletter, and send out reminders. Come and enjoy a fun day or evening with friends who enjoy the same hobby. If you are new to the group, this is a great way to get to know everyone. If you would like to hold a Stitch-in please contact Karen McCafferty@978-777-1946 or centerRM3@gmail.com.
